You may have noticed a bit of commotion around the Lenko Art Window recently. Philosoface’s Prue has been busily installing her new work as part of her Art of Fashion series. Come and see the limited edition brooches and necklaces she has created out of some of the best loved artists of our time. From Karl Lagerfeld to Ol’ Dirty Bastard there’s someone for everyone. You can see these pieces on display until the 10th of March and even put your name down in store to get yoursticky little mitts on one. On the 11th of March we will have all the non sold pieces available for sale with a few drinks at the store from 5-7pm. Come down and get your Lady Gaga or Brian Eno fix!

As you may know, one of Lenko’s most popular items is our Animal Sweater. Every year we painstakingly audition thousands of animals to see who will star on our sweater for the season. This year we are asking for YOUR help! That’s right, you will have your chance to really make a difference, to do something meaningful, to choose an animal to be put on a sweater!

You would think the inner fulfilment of your animal being chosen would be prize enough- but no! The winning entry will win an animal sweater of their very own. Also if you upload an image of yourself wearing a previous Lenko Animal sweater you could win a $50 Lenko shop voucher! there’s 2 to be won for the best images.

Thanks to the lovely lads and lasses at threethousand.com.au we rolled up our sleeves and took our shop on the road! We had ourselves a lovely store at the St Jerome’s Laneway festival again this year. We were festival carnies for a day, getting amongst it all, and loving it! Thanks to everyone who came down, got a bit pink in the sun, saw some amazing bands- hello Florence and the Machine- and picked up some new Lenko tings!  Happy Birthday to Jamima! Everyone who bought a Lenko friendship bracelet- you are our bffls! That’s forever. xxx

You know its close to Christmas time when the radness just keeps coming in. Today we received our first batch of Victoria Mason’s stunning jewelery collection. Silver toast and biscuits, pencil shavings and paper aeroplanes all lovingly crafted have become her calling card. Come in and see why she is one of the best loved jewelery designers in Melbourne.

Another thing that is close to my heart is photography. I’m that happy snapper, that “quick, say cheese” person. Digital has its place but there is nothing quite like a roll of freshly developed pics. If you are a photo buff or even a junior paparazzo you will be pretty excited to hear that we are now stocking Holgas, baby Holgas, Black Bird Fly, Golden Half and even a few rolls of 110 film. Drool now because since unpacking them yesterday we have sold almost half of the delivery! we are expecting a few more to arrive before Christmas (fingers crossed).

Keep cool my friends in this crazy heatwave. Our fans are turned to Backstreet Boys music video strong, so come in and be blown away!

You may know that I am quite a sniffly person. Hence my obsession with allergies and suspicion of all household pets. This time of year is the worst- Spring ie Hayfever Hell Time. Thank the heavens for Sniffle Co! These rad wooden brooches come with a hanky and may clear up your sinuses. Check out the new designs- Radar- Classic! But they do seem to sell faster than a zyrtec.. yechoo!
